Newquay the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan 02, May, 2017

Newquay lies on the North West coast and is the Cornish Riviera’s premier resort. The opportunity of visiting quaint coastal towns and beautiful bays along with visiting the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan makes this tour one to remember.

Day 1: We will make our way to Newquay, making a lunch stop along the way.

Day 2: Today we visit the Eden Project; nestled in a huge crater the massive Biomes house the largest rainforest in captivity. Spend the day exploring the flora and fauna from every corner of the world. Wander steamy jungles, gaze at rushing waterfalls or world class sculptures, and tread the amazing aerial walkway. This is a day out you will never forget!

Day 3: Today you may choose to enjoy all Newquay has to offer; stroll along the coastal paths, browse the shops or visit the picturesque harbour. You may prefer to join us on our included excursion to Padstow with its colourful working harbour, Tintagel the legendary birthplace of King Arthur and Boscastle, a village set in a conservation area amongst some of the most beautiful countryside in the Bristish Isles.

Day 4: Today we'll discover the Lost Gardens of Heligan. See the exotic fruit houses, the Italian Garden and grotto, the 30-acre 'Lost Valley' and the subtropical 'Jungle' garden of this constantly evolving project. After plenty of time to explore we will make our way back to our hotel visiting Charlestown along the way. Charlestown is an amazingly pristine, unspoiled example of a late Georgian working port. To this day the port remains unspoiled and retains much of its Georgian character. This unique combination has lead to Charlestown being a popular location for film and television locations.

Day 5: Today we make our journey homewards, stopping for refreshments along the way.
