Itinerary

Day 1: We will make our way to our hotel arriving in time for a late lunch. There will be time to freshen up before heading to Resorts World Arena to enjoy the exuberant Birmingham International Tattoo, featuring marching bands, pipes and drums, field gun racing, dog racing and spectacular displays with over 1,000 performers. After the show we return to the hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 2: After a delicious breakfast, we travel to Stratford upon Avon, a stunning medieval town steeped in history and culture and birthplace of William Shakespeare. Perhaps visit the playwright’s house or the cottage of his wife, Anne Hathaway.  Alternatively why not browse Stratford upon Avon’s premier Sunday market ‘Upmarket’; offering top quality products, gift ideas, treats and sweets, handcrafted items, designer jewellery, artwork and clothing. This splendid market, with a backdrop of elegance, offers something for everyone. After our visit to Stratford upon Avon we will begin the journey home.
