The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. You will be transported into a fairy-tale world with giant Christmas trees, colourful animated characters, dancing Santas and toy soldiers that come to life! Day 1: We travel to Norfolk making a stop in the city of Chelmsford where you will have some free time before continuing on to our hotel. Chelmsford’s award winning city centre provides an unrivalled shopping experience. A pedestrianised High Street and a bustling indoor market are complimented by specialist shopping areas including High Chelmer Shopping Centre. For those not wanting to shop a myriad of restaurants, wine bars and street cafés offer the perfect opportunity to take a break and recharge your batteries.
Day 2: Enjoy a leisurely morning before leaving for Thursford arriving in time to explore the shops in the Thursford ‘Olde Worlde Village’. Here you will find The Christmas Shop selling fabulous decorations, stunning tableware, gifts and toys. There is also the Best of British Pantry Shop where you will find a wonderful collection of the very best of British jams, chutneys and biscuits. There is an Ice Cream, Sweets and Treats Shop, The Corner Shop and The Barn Café serving tasty soups, salads and sandwiches, to full meals and lunches to enjoy before the show.
Day 3: This morning we travel to the City of Cambridge where you will have free time before continuing our homeward journey. Cambridge is a vibrant, modern city with a colourful history that attracts visitors from around the world. There are shopping centres and markets, museums, parks and open spaces, you will also find many choices for something to eat and drink.
Located in Hunstanton, in an historic building 800 metres from Old Hunstanton Beach this recently renovated country house has been lovingly resort to provide boutique, chalet style accommodation. The award-winning restaurant serves delicious local produce and there is a relaxing lounge with an open fire to unwind in.All rooms are en-suite with TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer & free WiFi. Rooms are located outside the main building. There is no lift at the hotel however most rooms are on the ground floor. Please notify us at the time of booking, if required.
